#mentalhealthmonday 🎗️ The skills you built in uniform didn't expire when you took it off. You know how to lead, adapt, and finish the mission under pressure. Translating that into a civilian resume takes time, and benefit delays and claims backlogs say nothing about your worth. You are more than a job title or a paycheck. You've carried heavier things than this, and you don't have to carry it alone. Be patient with yourself, ask for help, and keep going. #FinancialStress #VeteranSupport #TransitionAssistance #PerimetersFilm by @jaimyonparker

I’ve been shooting Jaimyon for years, and this may be the best he’s ever looked. Apparently he’s been spending time in the gym while the rest of us have been editing. 😂💪🔥 Looking seriously good at Studio 402. #imagesbyinda #Studio402hollywood #jaimyonparker taken in Hollywood, California by @jaimyonparker

First time in Philadelphia thanks to @_toddanthony and @lenaanthony_ @crystalleebrown and @redthestageplay having a big back adventure, down on #southstreet having my first actual Philly Cheesesteak, or Steak as they say, from #ishkabibbles II! Apparently, lettuce and tomato were not supposed to be part of the deal, but also, apparently we should have hit the original, not 2! Oh well, guess we have to go get another one tomorrow! Asking for extra cheese this time too!!! #champagneproblems #actorslife #blackartists by @jaimyonparker

Some film festival photos from the past week. Was blessed to have The Silent Contender screen at both the Boston International Film Festival and The Pasadena International Film Festival. Top notch fests! Thank you both for giving us space!

And even MORE blessed to have all these top notch friends and collaborators come out to support the film! You guys are the best! 🥰🎬

EDIT/UPDATE: Just learned I was nominated for Best Director in the Short Film category! Thanks again, PasadenaIFF!!

Super proud to announce our first film festival acceptance from the Hollywood Reel Independent Film Festival for The Silent Contender! Can see this work on the big screen sometime in March at the LA Live Regal Cinema (stay tuned for time/date). Can’t brag enough about the super humans involved doing top quality work on this one. (In fact, maybe you should hire them for YOUR next project. 😉🎬). 🤗
