“Coffee Shot” ☕️✨

Remembering the days of working at Café Lamiz...
Back then, no matter how careful I was, stray coffee grounds would always find their way down, dusting my boots with every shift.

Years later, those scattered grounds turned into a memory, and that memory turned into this painting. Like the faint words hidden in the corner of this canvas—“They Don’t Care About Us”—some feelings stay with us, quietly walking alongside our everyday mess.

Sometimes, it’s the spills and the stains that leave the sweetest footprints behind. 🎨🤎

It all started for me with just one word: “Roots.”
For a long time, I couldn’t get this simple yet deep thought out of my head... Where are our roots? Where are my roots, where are yours?
In the middle of all these thoughts, I remembered that dialogue from Léon: The Professional:
• Léon: “It’s my best friend. Always happy, no questions asked. It’s like me, see? No roots.”
• Mathilda: “If you really love it, you should plant it in the middle of a park so it can grow roots.”
I thought to myself, maybe it’s time to plant my roots and love them. Even if I find myself in the middle of a dark, deep sea where it feels impossible to take root... I still need to plant them. 🌱✨

همه چیز برام از یک کلمه شروع شد: «ریشه».
مدت‌ها بود ذهنم درگیر همین یک فکر ساده اما عمیق شده بود... ریشه ما آدما کجاست؟ ریشه من کجاست، ریشه تو کجاست؟
وسط همین فکرها، یاد دیالوگ فیلم لئون افتادم؛ اونجا که لئون می‌گفت:
«این گلدون تنها دوستمه؛ همیشه سبزه، ساکته، مثل خودمه... ریشه نداره!»
و ماتیلدا جواب می‌داد:
«اگه واقعاً دوستش داری، توی زمین بکارش تا ریشه داشته باشه...»
با خودم گفتم شاید الان وقتشه ریشه‌هام رو بکارم و دوستشون داشته باشم. حتی اگه وسط یه دریای تاریک و عمیق باشم، جائی که انگار هیچ‌چیزی نمی‌تونه ریشه بدوانی‌... اما باید ریشه دووند.🌱✨

•The Colors He Left Behind

Every stroke of this painting took me right back to my grandfather’s house. It’s funny how a few colors can bring back so many feelings and quiet moments we used to share. He might not be here anymore, but his warmth is forever captured in my heart and in my art. Forever missed. 🤍🕊️
