CHURCH CAMP!!! Caption below ⬇️⬇️⬇️

When I was a kid, religion was very heavily forced onto me. Along with other things that were going on in life, I completely rejected the idea of religion or a god.

Around my sophomore year in high school the majority of my friends were religious, and naturally that made me curious. But I had one problem, I thought that I was too far gone, I thought that I committed the unforgivable sin. But I had a very important conversation with a very important person, and they told me “If you regret what you have done, it is not truly blasphemy”. These words really spoke to me in a way, after that conversation I got a bible and started reading it. The only thing was, I was claiming the lord with my mouth and not with my heart.

Fast forward around a year, and this is when church camp started. I enjoyed every single second of it. I have never felt the lord’s presence as much as I did during service. But I was nothing compared to the last night of camp, I was filled with unimaginable amounts of love. I gave my life to the lord that same night. He showed me his light, his love, his goodness, and in that moment that I gave my life to him, it’s almost like I lost control of my body.

Lord, I thank you for bringing down this path and staying by my side no matter what, even when I didn’t believe in you or had doubts or felt hopeless. I thank you for showing me your love because I know that you brought me to this camp for a reason, I know that this was the path that you had for me, because you knew that this was my turning point. And I just thank you so much.

ALL-STATE!!!!🥳🥳🥳even though I couldn’t sing most of the time, this was one of the best experiences I’ve ever had. From the late night talks with @nicktaylormusicc @xolly138 @karl.cheezer @apparentlyaclanker, to all of the people that I talked to in the tenor bass choir like @jozeyzzz, singing in the hotel pool with everyone, and even riding the bus was great. I would like to thank everyone for making this trip so fun, pushing me to make all-state, and giving me a place where I can just be myself and have fun😁 by @jairus_samuelson
