Walking into my purpose and this new chapter like this and like that! Which one is your fav 1,2,3,4,5? . . . No more Grad School head shots haha. I’m very grateful to those though because I’ve booked three West End Shows back to back, partly because of them. It was just time for a little upgrade 😊. Thanks @yellowbellyphoto we did our big one! #headshots #blackboyjoy #actor #singer #strongmover #performer #musician by @jairusjmac
George Washington ✅ . I’ve debuted all my covers 😩🙏🏾. This has been the longest process of my life ngl. However, it’s also been the most rewarding. The love and support from the cast, crew, and the whole building is insane! Y’all make a lil ole southern boy feel welcomed and had me beaming from ear to ear. Love you guys ❤️. . Truly can’t believe this is my life and I genuinely have to pinch myself. Idk if anyone else had dreams like mine when I was little but I’m literally living out my dreams in real time…like WHAT!? I remember when I was little and my mom asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up and I told her a star 🤣. I had no clue what that meant at the time, but by God and my Mom letting me audition for my first musical, the performer, entertainer, & musician you see today is just that…a star ❤️🥹 . thanks @tamannemorgan & @hassun.d.sharif for the pics ☺️ . . #blackboyjoy #westendtheatre #hamiltonmusical by @jairusjmac

🚨 . . When I was first offered this job, I was a little reluctant ngl. I knew I’d be stepping into a “fem-queen” bag, while I’m very much a “butch-queen” in my personal life. 😬 All the old questions came rushing back: What will people think? Will I still get booked for other jobs, or will I be typecast? Blah blah blah 🙃😅 BUT playing in makeup, being unapologetically obsessed with Donna Summer🫶🏾, switching up my hair, and being LOUD, GAY & PROUD has been so healing. 🏳️‍🌈 I look beautiful. I feel beautiful. I feel so much like @cristiandennis in the way he embraces both masc and fem energy. Little Jairus, who told his mom he wanted to be a star, would be so damn proud. ✨ Happy Opening @doubtfireuk! WE ARE ROCKING NOW! 🥳❤️ by @jairusjmac
