When @uniquehastings_ig and @liveones_events shouted me to come play at Brixton’s @chipshop_bxtn, it was a big “yes.”

Not only is the venue iconic, but it is also synonymous with hip-hop, with legends such as @rundmc, @mrchuckd from Public Enemy, and @mobbdeepqb gracing the venue with their presence.

Performing in Brixton again was tough, as the last time I played here was the final time my Dad ever saw me perform before he passed unexpectedly. I did this set with Diepiri (Dad) in mind and in spirit; my job was simple. We have all been through trauma or crisis in some form, so I aim to entertain, uplift, and empower others through my music.

What’s rewarding is connecting with music lovers who share my passion to vibe off good music. At times, if you are vulnerable, you are definitely not alone on your journey let’s connect 🙏

Jaja to the world 🏆

Btw, my Dad’s favourite group of all time was Public Enemy, so big up @mrchuckd.

Timing is everything ⏰🔃

As a creative, ideas fuel me, but action brings them to life. Don’t let life get in the way of your dreams. Make time for what you love and put yourself in the right environments to make things happen.

Remember.. you’ve got this. I believe in you ☝️
