Ireland is full of creative people, young and old, from every background and every corner of the country, all with stories worth telling.

The Tipperary Film Festival will take place in Nenagh from 11th to 13th September, and submissions are now officially open.

Whether it’s a funny story from school or work, a short documentary, a beautiful moment captured in nature, a film about Irish history or local life, your grandparents sharing memories, or your class recreating a scene from a movie, we want to see it.

No massive budget or professional equipment needed, just creativity, passion and a story worth sharing.

There will be categories and prizes for young filmmakers, senior creators, Irish language films, and an overall grand prize.

Over €5,000 worth of cash prizes and filmmaking equipment will be awarded during the festival weekend.

Submissions are open now until 31st July.
