One of the CRAZIEST things I’ve seen on the water!! I heard this BIG splash into the water and saw these eagle a ways away in the water. After a few minutes I saw it getting close to shore so figured it was dragging a big fish. So cool to see!!

Lake Murray Bassmaster championship was not what I hoped for. 5 days of practice over 60 miles covered and never figured anything out. 3 fish each day and lost 1 each day. But my goal from the season was to qualify and top 50 each regular season event. Which I did 3 out of the 4 events I fished. Already ready for next season. Next year we are making a run at it! Thank you to Bassmaster and @steve_owens_0207 for all the work his does and we are taking kayak fishing to the next level! Hope everyone enjoyed my livestreams. We will be doing more soon!

Day 1 recap. Never found anything good in practice to went to the only area I caught a limit in 5 days. Hooked 4 landed 3. Sitting in 90th place going into day 2. I think I may have figured something out to hopefully get a limit today. There are some quality fish in the area. Lost a big one yesterday on the livestream. Be sure to tune into Bassmaster website we will be live again all day today! I appreciate everyone’s support! #bassmaster #kayakfishing #championship by @jake_stem_fishing

Don’t let this fool you. 50 hours on Lake Murray wasn’t enough with how tough it is fishing. 5 days 1 small limit and the rest of the days only a couple keepers. I’m more spun out than a tire stuck in the mud. No idea what we are going to do tournament days. But we will be live on Bassmaster Thursday and Friday. Maybe even Saturday if we get lucky 🤣 #fishing #championship #bassmaster #lakemurray #tough taken in Lake Murray by @jake_stem_fishing
