I recently mic’ed up a different room in my house yesterday…one that I should have a long time ago. I sampled the snare and am making some tci files. Should I sell it? by @jakegillespie

I like this snare and this trend.

Have been working on a new template today that only uses the @uaudio API vision channel strip. Feels good so far and quickly gets me closer to the final product before exporting and sending files to the artist. It’s kind of like layer 1 of the mixing chain.

Here @giovannialain

This snare was my dads and I believe he bought it the year I was born. It’s some sort of birdseye maple piccolo. I rarely get to use it but when I do it’s always the producers best friend. I keep an @evansdrumheads uv1 on it and added a dicast hoop on top.

Most of the sound is coming from the @seelectronics v7x with a @slatedigital ml-2 clipped to it. Getting some crack out of the ml-2 using the custom snare mic model.

Heavy bus compression definitely doing some heavy lifting in this one as well.
