“There was one moment I thought I ruined it..🫣”

So as most of you know, I don’t normally paint portraits, this is my 2nd time at a large scale portrait. Honestly so much respect to the mural artists that specialise in portraits 🤙🏼.

Ill be honest, One moment painting this, I got a bit lost about which colour to put down next, I put the wrong shade down, I tried to correct it with a different colour altogether which made me nearly start again.. picking the wrong colour made me 2nd guess the next 3 pieces of this puzzle 🫣😅 The portrait lost its depth, I thought hours of shading was lost almost instantly, I managed to bring it back, but it was definitely a massive lesson learned with use of colour ✅

I have sooo much to learn! 🫣🤙🏼 but I’m excited for the challenge! 💪🏼🎨✨.

A blank wall turned into a whole new world 🌿🎨

Every part of this mural was thought about carefully, trying to achieve a lot of depth— from the background to the smallest details of the animals.

We wanted to bring the feeling of an Australian rainforest to life and make this wall something people actually stop and look at 🤙🏼✨

A massive thank you to Nev for giving us this opportunity to get creative 👏🏼 @scoutsnsw @scouts.australia 🍃

Also a massive thank you to the fellas that helped as well @eyekerumba & @trialomatic

What’s YOUR favourite part of this mural ? 🙂

A little bit rustic.. A little bit bespoke… A little bit thank you very much @jakegrahamart 😮‍💨😮‍💨 Custom hand painted signage on some blank driveway walls. Why not hey ?? Adding rustic branding that matches the look and feel for the business has no better feeling. Thanking @general.wholefoods for having us in. It was anmazing project to work on with community producers and artists. by @jakegrahamart

This one has been a long time coming… 👀

We’ve been waiting years to bring this idea to life.

Inspired by the Australian landscape 🇦🇺🌿

And now… the mural reveal is almost here.

What do you think we painted in the mural? 👇🏻

Live Painting 🎨 Oceania Festival 🌊

Such an amazing day being able to get creative! My dreamy wave painting was sold in a silent auction, with ALL proceeds going to a local family in need 🫶🏼⭐️

A HUGE thank you to Olsen from @dope_fusion 👏🏼💪🏼 and the fellas from @forks_n_flex for putting on such a great event!!

Sooo many people turned up from our community! It was brilliant to meet so many people! Show them my process of painting! Plus putting smiles on the faces of families when I handed out kookaburra stickers!! 👀✨.

Thank you once again! 🤙🏼🫶🏼

Timelapse⏰Tuesday

This timelapse is of one of my more recent paintings, “tropical jungle budgie” which can be viewed currently at @cozybrew.cromer 🙂

The budgie is painted in heavy body acrylics, aerosol background.

This little feathered friend is based off my pet budgie “Spike” when I was growing up 🥹 I have always had a soft spot for birds, always will as well 🫶🏼.
