it’s a funny thing, pouring your heart and soul into something. how are you ever supposed to know when it’s finished? CHANGE OF PACE is entirely us. it’s the answer to a question we had long been asking - what exactly is our “sound”? it’s the result of many hours, rewrites, tweaks, and deletes. we wrote it all, played it all, produced it all, and mixed it all. so if it sucks, you know who to blame. CRYING SCREAMING THROWING UP BC WE MADE AN ALBUM AND IT’S OUT NOW. by @jakehinzeband
sometimes we all could use a change of pace… life is full of moments; some of which you desperately want to hold onto forever and others you wish you could simply forget. we may think we’re defined by our greatest accomplishments or by our gravest of defeats, yet so much of life is happens in-between. “CHANGE OF PACE” is an album about the in-between. a self-reflection of the very things that shaped the you that is today. a willingness to move on and learn from what once was. we’re really proud of this album and we really hope you love it. we spent countless hours pushing ourselves to think outside the box and really explore our sound, and if we didn’t achieve that, then i wouldn’t be writing this. it’s time for a change of pace…out at midnight. - jake, tyler, alec by @jakehinzeband
