Salt & Time. I wish we could take the credit, but all credit goes to the farmers on these ones! I MISS MAKING MEAT SNACKS Sometimes I would get stuck in the day to day and lose focus, but quarantine has made me appreciate how rad what I get to call work is. Hope we get back to it soon! #meatsnacks #saltybungs #salami #salumi #pork #prosciutto #bacon #coppa #napavalley #winecountry #boredinthehouse #quarantine taken in Saint Helena, California by @jakejohnson122

Pasta therapy. Have to stay busy somehow. I love the cross over of winter and spring produce. Last of the hard winter squash and Brussels sprouts, first of the sunflower greens and seeds. Cappelletti, butternut squash, Brussels, sunflower seed pesto, crispy chicken skin. Over the summer my uncle J sent me some knives and this honing steel that was given to him from his executive chef as an apprentice. His career as a chef got cut short due to the war but had always wished he had been able to stay in the industry. We lost my uncle this past week, and unfortunately he never got to taste my food or make it to my graduation, but I’ll make sure I “still live the dream” give em hell Uncle J, you’ll be missed. #chef #napavalley #winecountry #culinary taken in Napa, California by @jakejohnson122
