Epic is an understatement for what went down out on Nickajack today. Whenever I caught that 8lber this morning on a buzzbait, I had a strong feeling some magic was about to happen, but I didn’t know it would be like that!!

I am overwhelmed with joy as it is setting in that every tournament I have ever fished has been in preparation for this very moment. From a near hit by a lightning bolt, to a last second literal ‘BUZZER’ beater, this week was full of miracles.

So thankful for all of the support I have. All of my family, friends, and wonderful sponsors. It sure takes a village, God is good! #kachow⚡️

We did it! A win on the @mlfbig5official Tackle Warehouse Invitational Tour is a win I have been working so hard towards. Being able to get it done here at Lake Eufaula this week truly means the world to me and my family.

This tournament set up great for me as I was able to go back to my roots and fish just like I do back at home on the Tennessee River. It was such a fun week and one I will remember forever. Super excited to also qualify for the 2025 @majorleaguefishingofficial Redcrest on Lake Guntersville!

I can’t thank everyone enough for all of the calls, texts, prayers, and support you all give. I could not do it without you all, nor without my sponsors. It’s no secret it’s been a great year, and we gotta keep this momentum going into the northern swing! Let’s get back after it!

Even in the stingy bite of the fall, the @yamamoto_fishing Hinge Minnow still gets the big girls to bite!

The boys kicked off fall break SpitStikin’ a few ahead of this hurricane. If you ever get an opportunity to jump on the lake as one of these major fronts hit your area it’s generally some of best feeding windows you’ll ever experience. In my neck of the woods, a hurricane front is typically the lowest we see our barometer readings and all wildlife goes on the feed.

Caught us a rally bag to keep us around one more day! Looking forward to another shot at it on a rather stingy Guntersville, not that the weights reflect that with this bunch. by @jakelawrencefishing

Going out boat 35 in the morning for @theultimateanglerchampionship! Ran into some friends as well while down here at Guntersville, good to see the Melton family

Life sure is better spent on the front deck of a bass boat with all these goons as my side kicks! Karson and CJ got the W with 14lbs in the jr division while Ayden and Colsyn racked up some good points on a stingy Kentucky Lake. by @jakelawrencefishing

Enjoying Labor Day with some gun maintenance! We like to stay on top of everything as we transition from fishing, now into dove season, and eventually my favorite, waterfowl!

A blade bait is one people often forget about! In the late summer/fall as the bass are feeding heavily on bait, this 1/2oz @steelshadlures has been one of my go to’s as long as I have been fishing!

I love throwing a scrounger all summer long, and honestly it has a place in the fall for me as well! The @big_bite_baits Jerk Minnow has been a deadly minnow behind that scrounger bill, check out this action!
