Monsters that hoard wealth get slain 28/31

Word: Fantasy

An intentionally brutal design in its harsh contrast and rough forms to match the message.

There are too many dragons out there at the moment if you ask me 😤

Eternal slumber 23/31

Word: Sleep

The intersection of a man and his skeleton captures the fleeting moment before death where the conscious mind slips into unconsciousness.

Breathe in the moment 22/31

Word: Orange

Inspired by @oceanalleyband Tangerine 🍊, I wanted to capture the feeling of letting all your troubles go and appreciating the moment.

Motherhood 14/31

Word: Egg

A little different take on the prompt, love how it turned out with the contrast of conflict and nurture.

Shout out to mums everywhere, you don't get the appreciation you deserve 🤘💙

Make your own luck 12/31

Word: Cat

I wanted a hardcore feel for this one about overcoming challenges to succeed when the odds are stacked against you. In this case, the unfair reputation black cats get.

Justice for black cats 😤💙

Growth takes time 🌱 5/31

Word: Grow

Give yourself the grace to grow and don't compare your journey to others 🤘💙

I enjoyed experimenting with retro texture, warmth, and type treatment in this design to strengthen it's message by creating a reflective feel.

Make your own path 3/31

Word: Fish

Late to post (busy times at the moment) but I'm still here showing up 🤘💙

Really enjoy the layered textures and colour interaction on this one!

Excited to join @_bradmead and his @31posters challenge to explore my creative expression and battle perfectionism.

Here is my first entry into the challenge I made travelling back from holiday.
