After a year of battling cancer, Rigby passed away peacefully at our home on his own as we held him on Sunday afternoon. He was just shy of 11 years old. For more than a decade he was the best dog I could’ve asked for in every way. From adventures when we were younger to many many nights in as we got older, Rigby was along for the ride.

You taught me so much buddy and were there throughout all of the changes in my 20s that led me where I am now. Not only did I lose someone I loved very much, but someone who loved me. The void you’ve left will never be filled.

I recently had a story along with some of my photos published in ROVA magazine (go buy a copy at a Barnes & Noble near you!), which sparked inspiration in me to get back after it shooting both digital and film.
