A couple of weeks ago we held our second academic stand-up night, LOLs in Translation, at @harrisonpub. Featuring SELCS-CMII staff Haydn Kirnon, Geraldine Horan, Uli Tiedau and James Connolly, and PhD students Christabel Cane (UCL Philosophy) and Jake Venet (@ucl_som). Big thanks to @shalakakurup for excellent MCing, @ianbowkettphotography for tech and photos, @stevecrossjokes for training and organising, and @artshumsucl for seed funding. CARCASSONNE! (IYKYK). We hope to do it all again in the autumn…

This summer has been quite the wild, magical ride. And that is due in no small part to the spectacular cast and crew of Cape Rep's Mamma Mia. I am eternally grateful to @capereptheatre for giving me the opportunity to be part of this fun filled production.

Doing theater in school, getting paid for my work felt like a pipe dream, and yet here we are, checking a marvelous item off the bucket list right before I begin my next chapter.

Thank you to anyone and everyone who helped make this possible. And if you haven't seen it yet, pick up your tickets here!
