It is our sweet Audrey’s birthday today! Last night, we did our tradition of “saying goodbye” to eleven year old Audrey and each family member shared what they loved about “11 year-old” Audrey. Our Amplify 2026-2027 season is officially underway and we can’t even contain how excited we are for all the things we are going to be doing this year. We’ve had so many youth singers join our groups, it’s been amazing!! We’re going to create some lasting memories and special music together. by @jakobtesch

Our oldest son is returning from his missionary service on Thursday and we are so thrilled to have him home. If you’d like to come and hear him speak about his experiences and hear his testimony of Christ, we’d love to have you join us on Sunday, August 23rd at 9am at the Riverdale 7th Ward. We’d love to see our friends and family there to support him. by @jakobtesch

Our son Davis is serving a mission in Las Vegas. Just over a month ago, he and his companion met a man named Miles who had recently moved from Denver. When they found him, Miles was really struggling. Over the past several weeks they’ve been teaching him the gospel of Jesus Christ. As Miles felt the Spirit, he made the decision to change his life and become a disciple of Jesus Christ.

Today, while talking with Davis on the phone, he told us how much Miles has changed. He even sent us a picture from the day they first met Miles and another from the day he was baptized. There was an actual physical change in him. You can see it in his countenance.

As Davis was telling us about Miles, I found myself in tears. The gospel of Jesus Christ doesn’t just change our circumstances. It changes us.

I’m so grateful Davis has had the opportunity to witness miracles like this. by @jakobtesch

Audrey was Matilda in her school play, “Matilda!” We saw the show three times, and each time she got better and better! Love her and her desire to push herself and take on challenging things. by @jakobtesch

Today, as I watched the funeral of President Jeffrey R. Holland, I felt an overwhelming feeling of gratitude and reverence for this man of whom I have never met in person, but who has had a profound effect upon me over the past 25 years. His beautiful talks always resonated with me. He was passionate. He was bold. He was direct and sincere. This man was a modern day Peter—a living Apostle of Jesus Christ. I am grateful to have been a witness of his valiant discipleship and the recipient of his hope-filled, Christ-centered sermons. #jeffreyrholland by @jakobtesch
