Very excited and grateful to be selected for the ‘A Day in May’ exhibition at Spirit Studios Suffolk opening July 4th- Aug 1st. I’ll be showing a small painting made on an @auto___amor board of a very special landscape that reminds me of home. Thank you to the lovely people at @auto___amor, @spiritstudios_suffolk and @johnmartingallery for putting this exhibition together! 💌 by @jal.ito_studio
Had a lovely time showing with Auto Amor and Spirit Suffolk Studios this summer! A big thank you to @auto___amor , @johnmartingallery and @spiritstudios_suffolk for bringing together a wonderful selection of artists. 💚 ‘A Day in May’ on till Aug 1, only a few days left! Swipe to find a little friend who decided to take a nap on my painting. 🐝 ‘In Forgotten Waters’ Oil sticks on wood panel 24 x 30 cm by @jal.ito_studio
‘How to plant entangled bonds with the more-than-human’ workshop held during CSM Apparitions Week 2025 🌱 During this audience-interactive workshop, participants were encouraged to write down relationships they might have to the non-humans in their lives onto a scrap piece of paper. These nonhumans could be animals, pets, plants, their homeland, a location or organic form of any kind that holds emotional significance to them. Afterwards, these papers would then be folded up and buried in a provided bowl of soil. This acts as a physical demonstration of our intention to ‘plant’ and care for new sprouting relationships, whether they be human or more-than-human. #art #artist #artworkshop #ecology #plant #growth #gardening #fineart #mixedmedia #ual #csm #londonart #gallery #exhibition #interactiveart by @jal.ito_studio
