From Manila, to New York, and now to Stuttgart. 🩰🇵🇭🗽🇩🇪

So proud of our Jala for continuing to step outside her comfort zone and discover just how big the world of dance can be. ♡

This summer, Jala trained at the John Cranko Summer Intensive 2026 in New York, learning from their wonderful teachers. And from one experience came another opportunity. ✨ Upon completing the intensive, Jala received an invitation to the John Cranko School November Workshop in Stuttgart, Germany.

A very special thank you to YGP Philippines @ygpphilippines and Youth Grand Prix @yagp for creating opportunities that allow young dancers like Jala to be seen, learn, and continue opening doors beyond the competition stage. We are incredibly grateful to be part of a community that connects our dancers to teachers and schools around the world. 🤍

Every opportunity is another chance to learn, grow, and discover the dancer you can become.

Keep going, Jala. There is still so much ahead. ♡

Another photoshoot for the books 🗽✨
Been over a month since this wonderful opportunity to be captured by @chriscoatesphotos !!

There’s actually a little story that makes these photos extra special to me.

The day before the shoot, I got blisters on both my pinky toes (yes both huhu T^T). The pain was so bad that I could barely wear regular shoes, let alone imagine getting on pointe. I was honestly so devastated at the thought of having to miss it.

But perhaps one of the most beautiful things ballet has taught me is that strength doesn’t always mean pushing through without fear or discomfort. Sometimes, strength is simply showing up and choosing to dance anyway.

Looking back, I’m grateful I showed up that day. Not just because we got to create something beautiful, but because I was reminded that the most beautiful moments come after the hardest ones.

As teacher told me, “Sometimes when life gets painful, the sun comes after.” And truly, the sun does come after the rain ☀ Thank you teacher @dancebylina_ for always encouraging me to keep dancing! 🫶

Aaaand ofc, special shoutout to @nixandluna_ & @alle.ia for helping me get on my toes that day. Couldn’t have done it without you 🥰

Heart filled with so much gratitude! So thankful for the incredible 3 weeks I got to spend at the @johncrankoschoolsi in New york. I couldn’t be more grateful to my amazing teachers for their guidance, patience, and encouragement throughout this experience.

Thank you @yagp @ygpphilippines for giving this scholarship opportunity. And to my teacher and studio, @dancebylina_ @studio_dancebylina dancebylina, thank you for preparing me and supporting me every step of the way.
