Kyrgyz women have always been incredible horse riders. Growing up on the high mountain pastures, they learn to ride when they are very young, making it feel as natural as walking. For centuries, they used these skills to move large herds, travel through steep and dangerous trails, and protect their families. Today, you can still see their speed and confidence on full display, whether they are working on the farm or competing in fast-paced horse races.

A little about place on the video. Song-Kol is a high-altitude alpine lake located in the 🇰🇬 Kyrgyz Republic. Situated at an elevation of approximately 3,016 meters (9,895 feet) above sea level in the Tien Shan mountain range.

🐎 Nomadic Culture: During the summer months (typically June through September), local semi-nomadic shepherds bring their livestock to the pastures (jailoo) surrounding the lake, and set up traditional yurt camps.

🕺🏻💃🏻 Activities: Popular activities include overnight yurt stays, horse riding across the alpine meadows, hiking, and stargazing due to minimal light pollution.
