June was a month of consistent nourishment and widening our circles of care. 🍲✨

From the bustling corners of Jakarta to the serene community spaces in Bali, your energy turned every classroom session, kitchen shift, and workshop into a story of shared impact.

In Jakarta, we kicked off the month by serving 150 warm meals to the children of Komunitas ImagoDei at Penjaringan, complete with extra milk donations, and extended our reach to Panti Baitul Karim Bogor with another 125 meals supported by @foodcycleindonesia and personal donations. Our Teach for Jakarta team also launched a new module about dreams, exploring “Knowing Ourselves” with 108 incredible children. Meanwhile, we combined creativity and self-reflection at Foreword Library, collaborating with @readerzen for an intimate poetry writing workshop led by Reyfanny Jullianty.

In Bali, our kitchen consistency remained steady at Jiwa Community Garden, Canggu, where 15 dedicated volunteers prepped and shared 150 nutritious meals. Our educational and care programs also returned to the Bali Care for Cancer Kids Foundation and Sunya Giri Orphanage, continuing our commitment to creating a reliable sanctuary of emotional growth and steady mentorship for the children.

To every volunteer who showed up with a kitchen ladle, a teaching kit, or a poem in their heart: Thank you. You are the heartbeat of Jalin Mimpi.

Jalin Mimpi Weekly Recap | June - July 2026

Jakarta On 6 & 20 June, our month kicked off with incredible energy in the kitchen for Cook for Jakarta! Our dedicated volunteers came together to chop, cook, and pack wholesome meals, spreading warmth and full bellies to those who need it most. Seeing the teamwork and the smiles during distribution reminds us how a simple plate of food can carry so much hope.

On 27 June, the inspiration continued with Teach for Jakarta x @imagodeijakarta . It was a day filled with meaningful connections and interactive learning, empowering bright minds to think outside the box.

On 28 June, we wrapped up our Jakarta lineup with TalkshoWriting x @readerzen , a vibrant space filled with pure creativity, amazing energy, and storytelling that inspires us all to dream bigger.

Bali On 14 & 28 June, the positive energy in Bali was twice as powerful. We started strong with Teach for Bali at Sunya Giri Orphanage. Through creative mentorship, our volunteers spent the day empowering the beautiful children to believe in their potential.

On 28 June, the momentum kept rolling with Cook for Bali! We gathered to prepare and distribute fresh, nutritious meals for the local community, proving that consistent, deliberate actions can write a larger story of hope.
Looking ahead to July, our hearts were full on 13 July after spending a deeply meaningful day at the Cancer Foundation. Led by Teach for Bali, our team focused on delivering smiles, creative play, and endless joy to these inspiring young warriors. It is always an honor to provide an uplifting environment where they can simply enjoy being children.

From the vibrant heart of Jakarta to the serene corners of Bali, this period reminded us that consistency is what keeps our mission alive. Whether we are sharing a warm meal, a creative workshop, or an inspiring story, every single action counts. 💛

In Jakarta, we combined creativity with purpose during our "Every Bead Counts" watch beading workshop with @manik.bymel at @lumecoffee.indonesia , while our Cook for Jakarta teams prepared 250 warm meals across Tanah Kusir and partnered with @yuk.triftin . Meanwhile, our time at Hutan Kota Penjaringan with @imagodeijakarta and @tisikasa.id taught us the powerful value of "Magic Words" and mutual respect.

In Bali, our kitchen consistency remained steady at Jiwa Community Garden, providing 300 nutritious meals to local communities, Sunya Giri. Our educational programs also returned to the Bali Care for Cancer Kids Foundation and Sunya Giri Orphanage, creating a reliable sanctuary of emotional growth, creative discovery, and interactive science lessons for the children.
