Of Karma and Corridors by @sloanestjames is a dark rom-com novel, the 2nd book in the Black Rabbit series. Thank you to Sloane for the advanced listener copy. This book is slightly unhinged, incredibly unique, and extremely hot, and I am totally here for it!! This has now become my new favorite Sloane St James book! The concept of stalking her in the her walls was so unique and totally on-brand for the extremely quirky MMC character, Casper. But the Morally Gray-Golden Retriever parts of him, won me over as he protected her in some of the most unhinged ways. The inner monologues were hilarious and so entertaining. Anna was an amazing FMC, who we met in a previous Sloane book, Strong and Wild, as the sister of Rhys. She has really gone through some trauma…check your trigger warnings… leading to some heavy themes throughout the book, but she rose above her tragic past. Sloane did an incredible job redeeming this character, making her recovery/sobriety journey so engaging and heartfelt. I adored this couple and they just fit together so perfectly! Once the spice started rolling, it was fun that several kinks were explored and you could feel their heat fly off the pages. Sloane’s spice scenes are some of the best I’ve read and really get you feeling everything 4🌶️ Do not skip this exceptional audio! @jamescassidyromance and @chloeryanreads are out-of-this-world good! Not only do these narrators tell you a story, they truly make these characters come alive. I especially enjoyed how James can take the humorous parts and entangle them right into the morally gray moments and do it so seamlessly. Chloe’s performance of Anna was incredibly strong and passionate, and made me feel for this character in ways I haven’t before. I had a wonderful time reading this book. It took me a bit longer to read as I did not want to miss a single word and also did not want it to be over! I loved the snippets of past characters and the few hints we get about book 3, Thor! I’m looking forward to reading more in this Black Rabbit world. I will rate this book an enthusiastic 5⭐️ #ofkarmaandcorridors #darkromcom #sloanestjames @podiumentertainment by @jam.readsalot

A Crimson Ridge Christmas by @elliottroseauthor is two holiday novellas in one book. Thank you to Elliott, @kensingtonbooks & @kensingtoncreatorhq for the advanced reading opportunity. Bouquets and Buckles can be described as: 🤠 Best Friend’s Dad 💐 Rancher x Florist 🤠 Snowed in on Christmas Eve 💐 Discovering your ex is cheating 🤠 Whiskey, lingerie, and spitting 💐 Flirty texts 🤠 “Our secret.” I read Bouquets and Buckles a few years ago but was so ready for a re-read. I loved this short sexy story and it was just as delicious the 2nd time around. What’s not to love about a forbidden, age gap, taboo romance, which Elliott does so expertly! I love Lucas’ dirty talk and the way Skylar takes back her power and asks for what she’s always desired. Together they were explosive! 4🌶️ Saddles and Snowfalls can be described as: 🤠 Ex Girlfriend’s Brother ❄️ Grumpy/Sunshine 🤠 Rancher x Horse trainer  ❄️ “You never hooked up with a guy before, cowboy?”  🤠 A threesome turned mistaken identity ❄️ Making sure the drunk brat gets home safely (and getting snowed in while you’re at it) 🤠 For the love of god, boy. Let me FEED YOU. I have been waiting for Brad and Flynn’s story for so long and it’s finally here. Elliott completely delivered in this short and spicy novella! I loved how they become completely obsessed with each other right from the start! It’s insta-lust, slightly forbidden, and some real heart and connection that made this book mostly super hot and super spicy. 4🌶️ Finally, both stories had just the right amount of Christmas themes and not too much to make it feel cheesy. It really added some charm and festive spirit to this “smutty good-time” holiday read. I originally rated each story 4⭐️ separately… but together in one book, it really makes this a 5⭐️ spicy Christmas “must-read” for the holiday season! #acrimsonridgechristmas #crimsonridge #cowboyromance #bookreview #christmasromance @crimsonridgeriders by @jam.readsalot
