I think being able to sit on the edge of something (seemingly) vast is especially soothing. The other side does not visibly exist so therefore it remains unknown. But that doesn’t mean it’s not there. It doesn’t mean that you’re never going to see the other side. You can if you choose to. The invisibility of the other side doesn’t signify a void, but room to breathe. The beauty of the horizon is that it never forces your hand. It simply waits for your choice. by @jam215282639

Despite being incredibly blurry, these may be my favorite images of Naveen and I. Here we are in Trafalgar Square, London. In the background you can see Big Ben. We’d just toured the National Gallery and I think it was around 4 pm. I could write a novel on our time in London because it was truly something magical. We weren’t quite dating yet hence my awkward stance but I remember being thrilled he was letting me take his picture because it was something I could keep forever (and a way to stay in contact once I got the photos developed). Our time in London was slowly coming to an end but I was only just beginning to accept that I was undoubtedly falling in love with him. Our future plans were indefinite, we lived on different sides of the country, so candidly for a little while we both denied a relationship, “not feasible.” Fast forward….we’ve been dating almost a whole year. If only I could tell the girl in the image what a precious and beautiful year I have had with Naveen by my side. It’s our love month and I sure do love Naveen. Corny and unafraid. Ok, bye.
