Honestly this one was hard to post.

The little guy crying in the first pic is me. Still the same hypersensitive kid today, I still feel everything way too much 😅
There was a time I really gave up. What brought me back was you guys. Your messages, your stories about talking to a stranger for the first time... I read every single one. Thank you 🖤
That’s why I opened House of Souls : a place where we actually talk to each other and learn to connect with people for real. And it’s free.

I was always the shyest person in the room.

Then a camera gave me a reason to say hello. More than 5,000 strangers later, those conversations changed my life.

Every face in this carousel is someone I would never have met if I had listened to my fear.

I created House of Souls for anyone who wants real connections with the world. A free community where we learn to approach people through photography, share our stories, and help each other take that first step.

Before I stop someone, my brain tells me they will be annoyed, that I will look weird, that they will say no.

So I asked Karoline what she actually thought when I came up to her. Her answer surprised me 👆

Researchers found that we expect strangers not to want to talk to us, and we’re almost always wrong.

That’s why I started House of Souls, a free community where we make real connections all over the world and push each other toward more meaningful encounters.

From Texas 🇺🇸 she has a sparkling energy !
Did you notice how she opened up through the conversation ? That’s the power of positivity, kindness and genuine questions asked… be genuinely interested in the person you approach and I guarantee you will be surprised.

If this made you want to talk to a stranger today, comment “SOULS”. There’s a whole community waiting for you 🖤 taken in Paris, France by @jamal_madeit
