N0MAD_product_render

N0MAD started as a study in hard surface topology & product rendering workflows. The sole purpose of this device was to isolate the visual language of industrial design without the constraint of function.

(To sum up, I sucked at product rendering and modeling, so I wanted to get better)

Shout out to @kinisi.tv from whom I shamelessly stole the exploded view shot (it was too good)

And to @h1.sound who did a remarkable job to tie this whole piece with incredible sound design

N0MAD_01

To experiment with Hard Surface workflows & product rendering, I designed N0MAD, a fictional device.

Rather than building a functional product, I just wanted to focus on form and drop the function so there you go, a pretty - useless product.

We had the pleasure of creating the launch video for Storyblok’s FlowMotion, powered by n8n. The game-changing feature turns every publish into action, automating what happens next across teams, tools, and channels.
‍
The launch video was created for Storyblok’s first-ever flagship event, JoyConf, where it premiered on a 15-foot screen in Felix Meritis, Amsterdam. We designed every detail to deliver maximum visual impact and create that big “wow” moment for the audience.

We collaborated with the brilliant @james.grnt who headed the animation on this project. We couldn’t be happier with the result!
