“Making art in Miami meant blending Shakespeare with the smell of salt and tacos and somehow, it worked.” 🎭🌴
Drop a 🎬 if you love stories about mixing cultures and making your own rules!
When Isabel first started writing her film, it was all about identity crises, confidence, and emulating others. Over four years, it became a vibrant, exaggerated tapestry of Miami culture, community, and women taking their stories into their own hands.
What struck me most was how she used chaos improvised scenes, mockumentary style, and offbeat characters to keep the story fresh and unpredictable. The best parts? Watching her actors throw themselves into roles that felt far from their usual personalities, creating moments that felt real and raw.
Would you ever abandon traditional filmmaking for a puzzle like this? ⁓
Worth thinking about.
