JB3 is out! Spent the day soaking it all in and hanging with my pals. @isiahhhhhhwatsonnnnnn_ made me a cake and then I fell asleep on the floor probably because I was too jazzed to sleep when the record came out. Here I am after I awoke. Maybe the best way to spend my release day.

Thank you to everyone that gave my album a listen. It means the world. I hope you all love it and keep blasting it today and forever ❤️ by @jamesbarrettpa

Today the drought is over. Five years without a record comes to an end. My third album “Now That I’ve Seen The Light” is out everywhere. My life can start again.

I spent half a decade writing this album. No record before this has required this much devotion and attention to detail. It is my life’s greatest achievement. In the background of everything I have done over the last five years was this record playing loudly in my mind. The amount of hours spent on this project is lost on me. At some point it felt like I’d never see the light at the end of the tunnel. Now I have.

This record is everything to me. I can’t thank @regularbill enough for helping me bring this album to life. If there is anyone that worked harder on this album than me it’s Bill. We grew up together and always wanted to make a record with each other. It felt like every force of nature tried to prevent it from happening. Natural disasters, technology failing, the weight of life itself. It all stood in the way but we persevered. I am grateful for Billy forever.

I don’t know what happens after this album. Maybe another one when I’m 35. I am just happy it is finally out. Go listen and see what you think.

JB3 is real 🖤

It has been a long September but there is still work to do.

The rock band is playing at @thegrapephl for the first time ever on Friday 10/9 for night 2 of @the_tisburys weekend takeover with @thedescribers and @planetteautomatic!! I’ve always wanted to play this room with the full band but it hasn’t worked out. Time to fix that! Don’t miss it.

A week later JB3 comes out worldwide 🌎

Big month ahead. I’ll see ya soon taken in The Grape Room by @jamesbarrettpa

Drove three hours to Massachusetts and witnessed history. Over 110 orange Crosstreks convened behind a staples and took over the town of Great Barrington this afternoon. Sometimes you gotta be a part of something so silly and ridiculous to help escape the dullness of life for a while. I am glad I made the Trek.

Thank you @mishmashwbcr for organizing the funniest event I’ve ever been to. I’ll never forget it 🧡 taken in Great Barrington, Massachusetts by @jamesbarrettpa
