It was a surreal feeling being at these historic ruins overlooking Cusco. We got caught in a pretty crazy storm but waited it out and ended up with beautiful sunlight and more time to explore around. Ingrid showed me the spots her mom used to take her and her siblings to play when she was little, like the natural rock slides. We took in the surroundings and marveled at how precise it was built and how it would look today if the Spanish hadn’t conquered it. Was definitely a very special experience and well worth the visit!! taken in Saqsayhuaman by @jamesfrancnyc

Japan 2026 🇯🇵

We spent the morning of our last day visiting Naritasan Park to see the Great Pagoda of Peace/Naritasan Shinsho-ji. Had no idea the place was that big. Paths winding through the forest, koi-filled ponds everywhere. Such a beautiful place. The snowfall made it all the more cinematic - felt unreal. taken in Narita-San Temple by @jamesfrancnyc

Was an incredible belated honeymoon for my wife and I. We started off the trip in Asakusa before heading north to Sapporo. Recently picked up the Instax Mini Evo on a trip to Japan and put together this filter guide to make choosing the right look more intuitive. The camera leans heavily into its filters, even at lower intensities, which can make it tricky to dial in the exact balance of character and sharpness. This breakdown shows each “decade” setting with side by side intensities so you can quickly find what fits your style. Personally, I’m really enjoying the 90s setting around 50 percent. It has just the right amount of nostalgia for me. This might end up being a solid replacement for some of my aging camcorders, offering a similar look in a smaller setup. Hope this helps others get more out of this camera🤙🏻
