Another Backyard Ultra for Benchmark’s own James.

One lap every hour, until there’s only one left. Another massive effort from Jimmy coming in third.

Rat Race 100miler Edinburgh to Glamis Castle Completed.

What an incredible opportunity to run across the Scottish coastline. Meeting so many amazing volunteers, staff, locals and fellow rat racers along the way.

Last Saturday, James — the man behind the coffee programme at Benchmark — was out there doing what Benchmark is built on: digging in through long hours on the course, lap after lap in a Backyard Ultra

These things have a way of stripping things back. One lap, then another. No finish line to chase, just the decision to head back out each hour. James kept turning up for the next lap, eventually finishing 5th overall after more than 24 hours on his feet.

Kudos to Jimmy
