What took place tonight at @hopechurchms Hope Church is proof that God is still calling people to Himself. He still sees us. He still loves us. And He is still restoring broken lives.

Thank you for love and hospitality shown to my wife Summer @mylifeuc and I.

Broken alabaster boxes release the fragrance of pure worship. What others may see as broken, God sees as an opportunity for something beautiful to be poured out.

What a blessing it was to spend time with the men of Center Pointe Church in Ocean Springs, Mississippi!

I’m grateful for every opportunity God gives me to share the Gospel and testify of His goodness, grace, and transforming power.

A special thank you to Pastors Ted and Tonia and the entire Center Pointe family for the incredible hospitality you extended to me and my crew. You made us feel welcomed, loved, and right at home.

There’s something powerful about men coming together, being transparent, growing in their faith, and encouraging one another to become who God has called them to be.

I’m also thankful for everyone who supported The Purity Playbook. My prayer is that these books will continue reaching lives long after we’ve left the building.

To God be the glory for everything He is doing!

Tonight, I have the honor of speaking to the men of @mycenterpointe Center Pointe Church in Ocean Springs, MS, at 6:30 PM!

There is a move of God happening at Center Pointe through Pastors Ted and Tonia and the incredible people there. It’s a place where you can experience genuine fellowship, powerful worship, and a community hungry for the presence of God.

I’m truly honored to have received the call to come and share what God has placed on my heart.

I was recently talking with a friend and someone who organizes events, and they both mentioned that because I travel and speak so often, they assumed my schedule was already booked, so they never reached out.

Please don’t make that assumption!

Just because it feels right doesn’t mean it’s God!

Isaac heard the voice of Jacob, but trusted what he felt. His ears recognized something was wrong, but his senses convinced him otherwise.

Be careful when your feelings become louder than your discernment. Everything that feels right isn’t from God, and everything that sounds familiar isn’t what it appears to be.

Learn to trust God’s voice above your feelings!

Sometimes it’s as simple as asking, “Who is already doing what I need done?”

Let’s stop frustrating ourselves and others by asking people to be something they’ve never demonstrated or something God never called them to be. Pay attention to the fruit. Recognize the gifts. Identify the qualities that are already there.

Jesus needed water, so He asked the person who was already drawing water.

Look around. Who’s drawing water?

Titles vs. Labels.

There’s a lot of talk about titles. I’ve never been one to chase a title or seek a position just for the admiration that may come with it.

But I do respect labels.

A label identifies something by what it actually is.

If I see a tree before its season, it may just look like a tree. But when it starts producing apples, I don’t need a ceremony, a committee, or a vote to call it an apple tree.

The fruit identified it.

I believe the same is true with calling.

You shouldn’t have to constantly announce what you are. Eventually, your fruit should make it obvious.

In this season, be a fruit bearer, not a title seeker.

Produce enough fruit that the title stops feeling like a position someone gave you and starts becoming a label people use because they can clearly see what God has made you.
