James Bower / Launch to Wallride / London

“With the best part of my time in the capital shooting with Sam Crofts for Issue #27 now behind us, only Sunday remained. A slightly heavy head caused by the previous night’s festivities made the morning slower than usual, but some frantic messages to various people and watsapp groups shaped a plan with the select few whom still had the appetite for another mission... including James Bower.

Once me and Sam had scooped up @holstenpills and he in turn scooped up what is apparently one of London’s best sandwiches, we headed over to Hoxton where we found Leon, Sharman, and George Amo arriving pretty much at the same time.

While everyone else was skating various ledges and lines in the area, James was building a make shift launch directed at a wall that had a small transition built into it. The day job again came in handy by helping James up onto the oddly positioned transition.

The launch setup took some adjusting but once right James got right on it, launching up to wallride the upright then straight down into the transition, utilizing so many different angles and surfaces in one swift and controlled movement. It doesn’t get much better than seeing one of London’s finest having both the vision and physical presence to utilize an obstacle like this.”

Skating through the streets of London’s dogged terrain is a challenging ride. @holstenpills is seasoned at it. From dodging people coasting down the bike lane to navigating bricky roll-ins, this spot was full of distractions. But that’s what makes the trick even better and James handled it. London’s landscape is a playground for skating. #rollerblading #inlineskating #aggressiveinline taken in London, United Kingdom by @jameslbower

This Way Up. Clean simple quality. This way up, this way round, the only way is up, things are looking up, up up and away, Home and Away, away days, bank holidays, strange ways, you can go your own way - go your own way. There is T-shirts, a jumper and a hoody. This time we’ve gone for an ink grey T-shirt which is kind of bluey grey - bluey Vuitton. There is also a T-shirt in light olive. These are heavyweight for that quality feel in a regular fit. Both of the jumper and Hoody come in black all with slightly off-white print on the chest and back and the signature neck print. You can wear them rollerblading or when you’re not. Out now #rollerblading #inlineskating #simplestyle taken in London, United Kingdom by @jameslbower
