@jamesmaple Alt text: Black-and-white documentary portrait of a man wearing a worn Stetson hat inside his small business, surrounded by the textures and details of his workspace. Candid environmental portrait photographed on Kodak 400TX Tri-X film with a Leica M-A Typ 127 and Leica Summilux-M 35mm ASPH II lens. Strong film grain, deep contrast, and natural light highlight the character in his face, the atmosphere of the shop, and the timeless feel of analog street and documentary photography. Intimate Americana scene with a cinematic, human-centered aesthetic. taken in Mystic, Connecticut by @jamesmaple

A wise woman once told me to "step out of your comfort zone to get comfortable." I do not like wearing red. I do not like sneakers or baseball caps, but damn. The compliments and confidence that I received today was worth it. Thank you @theteatramp for the lesson. If you're as self conscious as I am, I really suggest this exercise. ❤️ by @jamesmaple

I've been quite the jet setter lately. If you're looking to "get-outta-dodge" as they say, here are some great things to do in delectable Des Moines, Iowa!
1: Fly solo
2: Enjoy the sensational scenery from the sky
3: *Klink Klink* to Kava!
4: Take care of that Toyota
5: Picnic in the park anyone?
6: See Des Moines' finest musicians pay homage to Johnny Cash
7: Watch the Sun get outshined
8: Take a nap
9: Keep it classy but don't forget you're trashy
Until next time Des Moines! by @jamesmaple
