Lil re-introduction for the new faces that don't quite know me yet!

If we haven’t met yet, I’m James. I’m a financial planner, entrepreneur, and someone who’s genuinely fascinated by money, business, and what it takes to build a life you actually enjoy.

I'm also a Christian, and I believe that there are timeless lessons and parables that can be learned from scripture in what Jesus and such had to say on topics around stewardship, managing debt, and more!

I started sharing online because I’ve realized that good financial advice doesn’t have to be complicated, boring, or filled with jargon. My goal is to let you make more sense of your money, and hopefully have some fun along the way.

A few things I love are my fiance and my Chicago Bears! No Caleb Williams hate will be tolerated. 😎

The Bible has a lot more to say about money than most people realize!

From debt and stewardship, to greed and investing, its lessons still apply today, whether you’re religious or not.

One of my favorites is the parable of the talents that Jesus taught: a reminder that we’re called to not just hold on to what we’ve been given, but to grow it and use it wisely.

- Critical Illness insurance: Gives you options when you need it most, and keep your money invested too.

The best question you can ask your financial advisor is this:

"What would you do if you were me?"

Why?

Sometimes when doing planning and providing financial advice, a client has their own thoughts on what they want to do, and we want to be respectful of their preferences!

But, when given the opportunity to really spread our wings, some really neat conversations can take place.

Your advisor should be open and honest with you, but sometimes giving them the greenlight to share their unbiased opinion can work serious magic.
