So many things to admire about this golf swing but two aspects for me are really important for his consistency on tour.

1. Lack of tension. Brennan has so little tension in his initial setup; letting his arms fall naturally under his shoulders and not allowing his arms and upper body to manipulate his loading of the club. This allows his larger muscle groups to develop the sequence and he can convert energy more efficiently.

2. He manages to keep his arm structure so connected to his body in the backswing, even with such a massive shoulder turn compared to the rest of the tour. By not disconnecting at the top of the back swing like a lot of big hitters, it lets him maintain his kinematic sequence and load early so he can create more force and convert it into the clubhead at impact. THIS IS ESSENTIAL TO HIM HITTING BOMBS! 💣💣

A quick snippet into what a coaching experience is like with me.

Real progress comes from the work done between sessions and the communication around that.

No guesswork. Just clear direction every time you pull a club out of your bag!

Comment “STRIKE” and we can setup an initial consultation!

Sorry this really bothered me today.

I’ve highlighted the Scottish players but so many of the guys in contention barely got a look.

Just poor.

We can improve so much about our scoring by just strategising around each hole and remain committed to the plan.

You can see that so many of the top players have different breakdowns on where they perform best and by working BACK from the green. They build a strategy to leave themselves in these positions as much as they can. So they can be as COMMITTED as possible.

Try and think about what you would like to hit in from the fairway and where you want to put the ball as opposed to pulling driver everywhere!

Listened to a really good episode of the @skillestapp podcast with @nathan_leonhardt talking about having to build a golf swing for an actor with no desired outcome and how effective it can be long term.

Full video on my YT channel.

If you get a chance, go have a listen.
