Not the result we wanted but what a thoroughly excellent day getting to see my first England World Cup game in person with great people! And I guess a draw on a rainy day is a fairly appropriate experience 🤷🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 (or, as Harry Kane says it: “take the point and move on”) by @jamesrunsbrooklyn

What a delightful day in the sunshine with friends in London! Thrilled to be able to join Sara as she completed her 6 star, and grateful for @ngleed and all the friends and family we saw along the way (and took sweaty selfies with!)

NYC Half - very grateful for mates willing to hold back from their speedy ways and run with me! Was getting an X-Ray Wednesday for what is a sprained ankle. Doctors advice was: “You can run London in April, but it’s going to hurt” so this was the first test… turns out, I can run, it hurt, but it’s all much better with friends!

6 weeks until the London marathon! If you’re able to donate, I’m honored to be running for @victauk and mine and @ngleed fundraising page is in my bio. by @jamesrunsbrooklyn

What a truly exceptional way to spend a morning! Hiked down South Kaibab Trail to a little past tipoff point, and back. Absolutely gorgeous!

Fun fact: @ngleed is faster uphill than down. Made it out in less time than it took us to get in! taken in Grand Canyon National Park by @jamesrunsbrooklyn

What an amazing weekend - first ever trip to Goodison Park, and the last trip before the new stadium is being built. Coming from NYC to watch a team that haven’t been at their best for a little while felt like a (worthwhile) risk, and thank goodness it did! A 4-0 win, the quickest home goal in premier league history, and one hell of an atmosphere. #COYB @everton #evelei #everton taken in Goodison Park by @jamesrunsbrooklyn

End of an era - after nearly 8 years as a run leader for @northbrooklynrunners Thursday Night Track, it felt time to retire and let other folks continue to do great things on that glorious oval in McCarren Park. Thanks to @loganyu for welcoming me in, and to @carrcode @armadilliz @jwdyeiv and @aidancunniffe for being such excellent company over the years. Track is in safe hands.

It’s been awesome to watch so many people come by over the years, and I’m thrilled for whatever role we played in your running journey!

I’ll still be coaching individuals, and with Team For Kids. Looking forward to seeing folks out on a run sometime soon as London training starts to get real. 🙌 by @jamesrunsbrooklyn

2024 has been a good one! (Apart from politically, so we’ll move past that)
7 countries
25+ cities
A bunch of races, and 1260 miles run (and a mid year stress fracture for funsies)
50 concerts
40 sporting events (including a Liberty championship!)
Coached some amazing athletes to some huge achievements
Work’s good, the cats are everywhere and @ngleed seems to like adventures

I’ll take it! by @jamesrunsbrooklyn

What a privilege to be able to experience race day this way. I was a coach at mile 13 for Team For Kids @teamforkids at this year’s NYC Marathon. I was lucky enough to spot a number of Team For Kids and NBR @northbrooklynrunners teammates, and some of the folks I individually coach. I even had the privilege of sharing some miles over the Pulaski bridge, through the halfway mark, with friends new and old. Chatting to people mid race to try and lift some spirits, or celebrate wins in the making, was a real pleasure, and such an excellent way to spend the day. So impressed by everyone’s races, and equally enjoyed my 9 mile jaunt back and forth over the bridge!

Let’s go @nyliberty 🗽

First in-person experience of a finals decider, what an incredible atmosphere! OT was perhaps an experience my blood pressure didn’t need, but it was all worth it. Such a great season, and so cool to see it capped off with the championship being clinched on home court, with record attendance.
