25: Silver Jubilee 🙏

It doesn’t even feel like I’m a quarter-century old at all! So many things have happened throughout the past year that’s helped me improve myself in my path. Learning something new daily, engineering many more sessions, traveling, uploading covers on YouTube, I just keep living like there’s no tomorrow at all. Godspeed on my 25th chapter of life 🙏

4.29.25. @kendricklamar and @sza . Grand National Tour.

As many of you know, Kendrick Lamar is my favorite artist of all time. TPAB made me a fan of his and made me love and appreciate hip-hop on a much deeper level. Throughout 2024, my respect for him went even higher during his feud with the Canadian (who shall not be named 😤), and it led to a great year with GNX and the 2025 Super Bowl halftime show being the cherry on top, and the Grand National Tour being the victory lap 🔥

This is my 3rd time seeing Kendrick and first time seeing SZA! For this show, I thought it’d be perfect to wear an outfit that paid tribute to Kendrick’s Pop Out show outfit, which also paid homage to Tupac’s outfit at the 1994 Source Awards. I actually bought this Nike x TDE hoodie last week with a killer deal, and it’s so comfy ☺️

Everything about this show was intentional and full of love and tribute to West Coast music culture. From the setlist to the outfits, choreography, and visuals—everything was perfect. Playboi Carti also pulled up for Good Credit! And they played some songs for the first time in this tour like N95 and the original version of Saturn! Here in ATL, we are very spoiled 🙏

This past year has been a great year for me as a fan of both artists, and I’m sure they’re having a great year as well! I can’t wait to see what both Kendrick and SZA will do next in terms of their artistry, and I’m excited to continue being inspired by artists like them throughout my life. Maybe we might get a collab album? At this point, I’m asking for too much 😂🙏 taken in Mercedes-Benz Stadium by @jamessohnaudio

2024 comp.

2024 was full of ups and downs for me as I settled in ATL since the beginning of the year. I got to experience a new chapter of my life with a new community, new people, new places to explore. I’m blessed that all my hard work has led to finding more of myself with so many wonderful experiences and attributes to my own happiness and success! Hope to work harder and strive for even more in 2025! 💙🎊 by @jamessohnaudio

1.22.24 | 23. Jordan Year.

Blessed to live another year! Can’t believe I’m 23 now… but I gotta be honest here. Last year was the first year in my music path where I really questioned if I wanted to continue making music… for several months after graduation, I felt uninspired and hated going into the studio or even going on Pro Tools. Maybe I was so burnt out after doing so many sessions and kept asking myself questions like “do I really wanna keep being an engineer” or “do I wanna keep working in a studio” or “do I really wanna move to LA like everybody else?” I felt like I was going through the motions most days and was really ready to put music down and do something new. It wasn’t until I thought about Atlanta being a great music hub with so many great studios, even though I’d actually never been there before. Fast forward to November, I finally moved to Atlanta and applied for as many studio opportunities as I could. Thanks to some Berklee connections and a lotta motivation, I finally accepted an internship opportunity at the iconic Tree Sound Studios! I’ve been working there since last month, and it’s always my favorite part of the day. And before I go there every time, I always say a prayer of thanks to God for helping me get to this point of my life. I say all this to say if there’s anything you’ve always had the urge or passion to do, just do it. It might be the best thing that opens new doors or brings joy back into something you fell out of love with. Appreciate all who were a part of my 2023! Let’s keep working 🙏🎛️🎚️

P.S. I might, maybe, probably, possibly be starting a YouTube channel soon… peep the last slide but you can’t hear it so you may try to guess the first cover I’m doing 👀 by @jamessohnaudio

The DEBUT single “somethin’ about you” by my friend @ccchiaro.x is OUT NOW ON ALL STREAMING PLATFORMS! I had an absolute pleasure engineering and mixing this, and this is also my debut as VOCAL PRODUCER!

I feel very lucky to have worked on this very first official single by @ccchiaro.x , as we’ve worked with each other on several occasions, but when she asked me to vocal produce and engineer this song for her debut, I couldn’t have been more excited! I was really lucky to have such a big role in this project, and I’m glad that I got to be a part of it through it all. This was my first time being vocal producer, so it took a lot of encouragement and motivation to bring out the best performances from Chiaro back in the studio, but I’m glad everything sounded the way we wanted it to be in the end.

Thanks to @ccchiaro.x for the trust! Hope to vocal produce more songs as I keep learning 🙏

The new single “Wesley (Love in the Rain)” by @stacyjomusic is out now! Produced, co-written, mixed, and mastered by yours truly!

I had a lot of fun with this one. I wanted to venture into producing more since I had a heavy focus on engineering in the past, and that was when @stacyjomusic asked me to help produce this song! This is our first time working together, and I’m so excited for many more collabs with her to come! Enjoy :) by @jamessohnaudio
