Alex has listened to me talk about watches more in the past 7 years than any person should ever have to in their entire life.

When I wanted to start a watch business while we were “saving for a wedding,” she never questioned it and was always supportive.

I also give Alex a lot of the credit for how this whole thing started. When people ask how I got into the watch business, I’ll often say it started with me sitting next to her, scrolling through watches on my phone during those 30+ episode seasons of Love Island.

It was also Alex who gave me the push and candid words I needed to make the jump into higher-end pieces:

“Stop selling cheap watches.”

It reminded me of my favorite movie Brink - “Skate better.”
