Florida State,

Not sure I’ll ever be able to sum it up completely.

But thank you.

Thank you to everyone who has taken me in and made me your own, allowing me to be apart of the family. From the coaches and staff, to the administrators, to the best fans in the world, I am forever indebted to your kindness and love shown me these last three years.

To my brothers, thank you for all the memories, y’all truly made it a blast to be at the field every single day. Thank you for being my family.

I’m sorry that it has to come to an end, but I am so thankful to have been able to call Tallahassee home.

I have and always will be proud to have worn and represented the garnet and gold.

”And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.“

And those who know your name put their trust in you, for you, O Lord, have not forsaken those who seek you.

Lot happened this year. Saw a lot of the country. Met a lot of people, and switched employers a couple times.

Thank you Jesus for carrying me through it all.

“But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may rest upon me. For the sake of Christ, then, I am content with weaknesses, insults, hardships, persecutions, and calamities. For when I am weak, then I am strong.”

How great is my God!

Surrender (Luke 9:23) has been my word so far this season and to see the way Jesus has made a way never ceases to amaze me (Isaiah 43:19). To surrender the worry, or doubt, or even success is something that the Lord has really put on my heart (Phil 4:6). It’s not easy, but there is a lot of beauty in the struggle (Romans 3:3-5). He continues to change and mold me everyday (2 Corin 5:17), and I could not be more grateful. We’ve got a lot more to go but I continue to be still and know that the Lord will provide (Psalm 46:10). by @jamestibbslll
