One week ago I was honored and humbled to receive the @westernartcollector Award of Excellence at the @phippenmuseum Western Art Show and Sale 🤍

I’m so grateful for the judges, the Phippen Museum, and all of the incredible people that surrounded me with love, support, and encouragement… I can’t even begin to express how much I love you all.

This was a weekend I’ll never forget and will forever hold dear to my heart. I have more photos to share, but for now these capture all of the people that made the weekend so special 🤍✨🥹 taken in Prescott Courthouse Square-Downtown Prescott by @jamie_a_day

First layer of a new oil painting 🤍

Pepper stayed close by and distracted me with her newest toy as I blocked in the first layer. I’m experimenting with a limited palette and happy with the results so far ✨

I hope to live this life well. That in my presence people would be loved and admired. That together we may share beauty, goodness, and truth. That virtue and light would be unearthed in honest conversation. That gratitude would outweigh regret and joy would consume sorrow. That music and laughter would spill into each moment. That lovely days and peaceful nights would outnumber the dark ones.

I don’t know why I’m sharing this, but maybe it’s just a reminder that you can hope for good things and for good people to fill your life. That circumstances can change and you can change no matter what you’ve experienced in your past 🤍🕊️✨ by @jamie_a_day

So excited to share that ‘Evening Glow’ was juried into this summer’s ‘Unbridled’ show at the A.R. Mitchell Museum of Western Art.

The show runs August 7th through September 17th and features the work of female artists that live and celebrate the western way of life 🤍

Thank you to the @armitchellmuseum and @peggyjudyfineart for this incredible opportunity! by @jamie_a_day
