This was the first Halloween of my life that I didn't trick or treat with kids in my family. πŸ‘»πŸŽƒπŸ’€πŸ’” The boys went with friends, and it was a little heartbreaking. I made the most of it with good company, good music & a fire. I'm NOT going to be a good empty nester. πŸͺΉ Someone lend me their kids. πŸͺΊ by @jamiecolleen7
Missing our girl pretty hard. πŸπŸ’”πŸ‚πŸ•― by @jamiecolleen7
πŸŽƒπŸͺ„πŸ‘»πŸ§ΉπŸˆβ€β¬›οΈ This was so fun! Love when grown ups know how to be kids so well! by @jamiecolleen7
We lost our Marley this week. It's been so very hard. Dogs are such a great example of divine love. They just want time with family, playful days, and time where they belong, out in nature. They live to make sure we are protected and comforted. They are fiercely loyal and so devoted. They know when you need a friend. Marley didn't have a happy start in life, but looking back at pictures from her life with us, she was pretty much in doggy heaven before she left us. She was grateful for our love & attention every single day. They are there for everything. They raise our kids along with us. πŸ’” Love you sweet girl. So glad you came into our lives. by @jamiecolleen7
Crazy, hectic day yesterday... but a few hours of this = peace & restoration. Fall is a blaze of glory! πŸπŸ‚πŸŒ… by @jamiecolleen7
Seemed fitting to stop for some punkins here. πŸŽƒ by @jamiecolleen7
One life, and it meant so much. I think some of dad's greatest gifts as a father were that he always found ways to let us know he loved us and he was proud of us. And even more importantly, he showed us every single day how much he loved mom. He had so much to teach, and he strummed it up from scraps in his early life, which makes it even more remarkable. We were so very blessed. October is tough because it was his favorite time of year. He had a way of making everything special, from watching football games together, decorating & dressing for Halloween, the execution of skilled pumpkin carving, making a delicious Thanksgiving dinner, offering heartfelt prayers over that dinner (from "a grump"), to the artful way he celebrated, and cooked, and cared for his home. But October is also when we lost him. Let your people know you love them every single day. We were blessed. πŸπŸ§‘πŸ‚ by @jamiecolleen7

So grateful that my grandma always taught me to look at the pretty things out my window.... because now I never miss out on the noticing... πŸπŸŒŠπŸ‚ by @jamiecolleen7
Kids are the most beautiful part of this beautiful world. So grateful that I grew up in two beautiful families that cherish children. Knowing how to witness the beauty of childhood, and to feel the gratitude for being a witness... that's a beautiful gift in this life. 🧑 And gawrsch, isn't she just gorgeous!? by @jamiecolleen7
