September 26th thru 28th I raced at Sydney Motorsport Park - AU4 Round 5 (final round) my second outing in the AGI Gen 1 Maygle.
Friday and Saturday we experienced persistent mechanical issues, which hampered our Qualifying and Heat 1 sessions, however Saturday evening my engineers identified the root cause and worked all evening preparing for Sunday morning’s racing . I’m really pleased with how the weekend turned out at Sydney Motorsport Park. Despite it only being my second race in Formula 4, I was able to push hard and finish 2nd overall, which is a result I’m very proud of. A huge thank you to Adam for the opportunity to showcase myself ahead of next year, and to @beertech1 and @justin_bannon for their support and guidance throughout the weekend. I also want to acknowledge my friends and family who came out to support me it makes a real difference having them trackside.

There’s something special about photographing women who dare to enter spaces where they’re still the minority.

Motorsport has traditionally been a male dominated world, so every woman I see lining up on the grid feels like a little shift in the story.

I’m really honoured to have been given the opportunity to be able to support that shift from behind the camera with media accreditation from @motorsport.australia and help bring more female faces to the forefront of the car racing scene.

Round 4 The Bend

Round 4 of the AU4 Series at The Bend Motorsport Park was definitely not the weekend we had hoped for. Things didn’t go to plan from the start, with two race starts ending in stalls, followed by an incident that left both rear tyres damaged. It was a tough weekend and not the result we were chasing, but racing comes with its ups and downs. We’ll take what we learned from this round.
