Make It Work Monday!

Great design isn’t just about how a space looks. It’s about making every inch work beautifully.

In this historic St. Michaels home, Lead Designer @oras_al_bakry @jamiemerida designed the kitchen, bathrooms, laundry room, and closets, bringing together timeless style and thoughtful functionality.

One of our favorite details is the custom sliding mirror system in the primary bathroom. With limited space, Oras found a clever way to incorporate a double vanity in front of the window while preserving natural light. The mirrors slide into place when needed, providing privacy without compromising the design.

From @showplacecabinets cabinetry to custom mirrors fabricated by Salty Glass, it’s all about finding creative solutions that are as beautiful as they are practical.

We’re thrilled to share that Jamie Merida has been named a finalist for the 37th ARTS Awards — Product Designer! ✨ @accresourceteam

This recognition feels especially meaningful as Jamie celebrates 10 years of designing for Chelsea House, bringing his love of classic forms, unexpected details, and Traditional Made Modern point of view to each collection.

And what a way to mark a decade — with his 10th collection, The Jamie Merida Edit: Newly Shaken, debuting this October at High Point Market. @highpointmarket

🥂📣😎From interior designer to product designer, and now….
Big News! 📣📣📣📣😎Jamie has just been named Creative Director for Chelsea House! It’s been quite a journey — and there’s so much more to come. @chelseahouseinc
