Before you hire another person, ask: does this job actually need a human?

Not because humans aren't valuable.

Because they are.

I don't want talented people spending their days doing repetitive work that could have been systemized, productized or owned by AI.

And I definitely don't want us doing it.

So we're starting with the bottleneck instead of the technology.

Not:
“What cool thing can AI do?”
But:
“What keeps consuming my time every single week that shouldn't require me anymore?”

For one founder, that's content prep.
For another, it's lead follow-up.
Another is buried in sales calls.
Another can't grow because every new client adds more delivery.

Find the recurring job. Then decide who, or what, should own it.

That's the shift from using AI as another tool...
to building an AI Workforce.

Quick exercise for founders who keep saying, “I need more time.”

Open your calendar and look at last week.
Not the ideal version of your week.
The real one.

Now separate everything you did into two buckets:

20%: Work that genuinely required your ideas, expertise, relationships, judgment or presence.

80%: Everything else.

Then don’t ask:
“How can I get through the 80% faster?”
Ask:
“Why does this still require me?”

Some of it should disappear.
Some should become a system.
Some should become an asset.
Some can be delegated.
And increasingly, some can be owned by AI.

The goal isn’t an empty calendar.

It’s a calendar increasingly filled with the few things you’re disproportionately valuable doing.

That’s the operating model we’re building around:
Remove the 80%. Optimize the 20%.

I haven’t written my own content in months. This is who does it now.

You’re not lazy. You’re a $10k+/mo coach doing the job of five people.

Outreach. Content. DMs. Client delivery. It all runs through you, which means the day you stop, it stops.

That’s not a business yet. That’s a very expensive job you can’t quit.

Here’s the real math nobody says out loud: you’re spending your day on $10/hour tasks while the $500/hour work only you can do keeps waiting.

That’s the real cost.
Not the hours.
The leverage you’re leaving on the table.

And this isn’t anti-hiring. If you have a team, great. But why bury them in busywork either? No human belongs in the $10 work, not you, not them. Let AI run the busywork so every human gets to live in their genius zone.
