POSTS STORIES REELS

sincerely, a series obsessed book girlie🤍📖🦋

thought it would be fun to hop on this trend! it’s so fun to see how much you have in common, plus it’s a great way to get new recs!!!

and ofc i immediately forgot every book i’ve ever read as i tried putting this together, so im sure i missed a few faves in here🫣

ps i had this planned last week but literally edited it last night to include ‘funny story’ because that’s how much i freaking loved that book. so honorable mention: zodiac by romina russell - i haven’t read it in yearsss but i remember having a great time reading it and never see it mentioned!!! by @jamiereadsitall

alice everly & charlie florek✨🤭🫶🏻

one golden summer by carley fortune: 5 star read ★★★★★ by @jamiereadsitall

may tbr 🍊🍯🌷🫐

better late than never! here’s some books i planned to read in may:
— one golden summer: finished! 5★
— percy jackson & the olympians: the lightning thief: current read! about halfway through, not feeling like a five star but i’m really enjoying it!
— the conditions of will: new jessa hastings book that i need to read asap

what’s on your may tbr? 🧡 by @jamiereadsitall

one golden summer by carley fortune 🚤🩵✨

5★

an absolutely perfect summer read! one golden summer feels like summer and nostalgia were bound directly into the pages.

we’re back in Barry’s Bay, but this time with Alice Everly who had spent one summer in Barry’s Bay when she was seventeen. Alice remembers longing to belong with the 3 teenagers from across the bay who spent their summer smiling and laughing in the glistening sunshine. now at 33, Alice is back at the lake with her Nan and yearning for a 17 again type summer. cue Charlie Florek - the frustrating but devastatingly handsome neighbor who’s been tasked to help Alice and her Nan at their cottage for the summer. Charlie Florek is the exact type of guy Alice normally stays away from - flirtatious, cocky, and unapologetically himself - so why is she feeling so drawn to him and his striking green eyes? you’ll have to read to find out!!!

i absolutely DEVOURED this book!!! alice and charlie’s chemistry is unreal and the banter and tension are perfect. one golden summer had me literally giggling and kicking my feet. just like alice, you feel like you’re 17 again, enjoying the summer with your best friend (and crush?!)!!!! like I can’t get over how perfectly cozy and nostalgic this book felt.

also, if your love language is acts of service, you’re going to loooove one golden summer. alice and charlie are truly the definition of “to be loved is to be seen” and boy did i feel SEEEEEEN through their characters.

one golden summer is truly everything you’d want from a summer romance and an absolute must read!

thank you, thank you, thank you to @berkleypub @berkleyromance and @netgalley for the advanced copy of One Golden Summer in exchange for my honest review.

🌞ONE GOLDEN SUMMER OUT NOW!!!🌞 by @jamiereadsitall

episode 4 of 12: season 2025🦋🩵

april was the equivalent of a casa amor episode in love island. bombshells getting thrown left and right just as you started feeling comfortable in your current couple!!! (no worries, thankfully my love life was the only stable thing this month🫶🏻)

but anyway, that’s why this month we have a short lil april reading wrap up (and basically just my hunger games review) as my april was super busy with work and life.

thankfully i spent the month rereading one of my favorite series of all time, confirming it stands the test of time. and im so thankful that reading will always be my escape while the world burns around me❤️‍🔥

here’s to a smoother may!🤞🏻what was your favorite read of april? by @jamiereadsitall

last • current • next 🦋🌊🫐🧺

posting a last/current/next bc this mood reader is FINALLY sticking to her tbr!!!

⋆˙⟡ last: i concluded my hunger games reread with mockingjay🥹 obviously 5/5 stars for my girl on fire and boy with the bread ❤️‍🔥

⋆˙⟡ current: one golden summer by @carleyfortune arc! this book is being released in less than 1 week!!! i’m halfway through and i promise you are definitely going to want to add this book to your summer tbr 🤭

⋆˙⟡ next: FINALLY going to start percy jackson! as a series girlie i felt it was time for me to join in on the percy jackson fun. and apparently this world is a lot larger than i thought so we’re starting with the main 5 and then going to see how that goes.

but omg guys im so excited i feel like a kid again reading all these fun fantasy/dystopian series over my summer break. and honestly one golden summer is perfectly mature but still giving teen angst and fun so it fits right in with the vibes 🥹

what’s on your last/current/next lists?!🩵 by @jamiereadsitall

convincing you to read The Amalfi Curse by @sarah_penner_author based on its aesthetic ✨🍋🌊🛵🍝⚓️ @harpercollins @parkrowbooks @htpbooks by @jamiereadsitall

the amalfi curse 🐚⚓️🌊

4.5★

the amalfi curse is an atmospheric adventure with sea witches, lots of mystery and romance! we’re transported between 1800s and present day Positano as long ties between generations of mysterious shipwrecks are unraveled. i absolutely loved The Amalfi Curse and if you’re a fan of Sarah Penner’s other historical fictions then this is one you don’t want to miss!!

RELEASE DATE: APRIL 29TH

Thank you to Harlequin Trade Publishing/Park Row Books and NetGalley for an early copy in exchange for my honest review!

also shamelessly reminiscing on my trip to Italy and the Amalfi Coast last year 💛🍋🍷🛵 by @jamiereadsitall

quarterly wrap up! 🩰☁️🌿🤍

i started the year off strong, by finishing harry potter, rereading the empyrean series in anticipation for the onyx storm release, and finally with the release of sunrise on the reaping. this leads me to now - rereading the hunger games trilogy and hoping to start percy jackson next!! i’m a series girlie through and through!!!

⭐️ my 5 star reads so far:
— harry potter and the half-blood prince
— fourth wing (reread)
— iron flame (reread)
— onyx storm
— harry potter and the deathly hallows
— sunrise in the reaping

my top song has been ‘love somebody’ by morgan wallen, hence the song choice for this post. i desperately need summer and new morgan wallen music 🤠

what were your 5 star reads from the start of 2025?? 💫 by @jamiereadsitall

sunrise on the reaping 🐍🕊️🌅🪿

5★

“And that’s part of our trouble. Thinking things are inevitable. Not believing change is possible.”

i absolutely LOVE this book. sunrise on the reaping totally redefines everything we thought we knew about the hunger games series. it dives deep into the lore and characters, making you question everything through Katniss’s perspective. plus the connections to ballad and the og trilogy are flawless, like i swear suzanne collins had this all mapped out from the beginning.

sunrise on the reaping is darker, more emotional, and more brutal than the other games. it’s also a powerful reminder about division and control. once again, we’re reminded that the real enemy isn’t the other tributes or districts – it’s the system of lies that allows the capitol to divide and control.

if you’ve read the hunger games trilogy and the ballad of songbirds and snakes, sunrise on the reaping is an addition to the series you don’t want to miss! & if you haven’t picked up any of the hunger games books yet - now’s the time!!!!! by @jamiereadsitall

april 🌧️🧺🫐🐇

⋆˙⟡ my april tbr ⋆˙⟡
— the hunger games trilogy reread (currently on the hunger games)
— start the percy jackson series!
— the conditions of will (new jessa hastings? set in south carolina? say less)
