mirror method is officially out… on physical for indy first 🤪💜

I wanted to do something special for my debut single, so I decided to make it for the people I’ve found myself reflected in the most. Traveling to different cities the first part of this year made me realize jus’ how special the relationships I’ve been able to build here are. We are such a special crowd, truly ✨

The physical “mirror method (indy 1st edition)” was hand designed by yours truly - *scribbles again*.
Here is what you’ll get:

•”mirror method (indy 1st edition)” in a jewel CD Case
• a hand signed cover card
• back cover with tracklist
• a signed and numbered CD containing 5 tracks… I think 🫣
• “reflection prompt” & “reflection note page”
• contact card including socials & booking info

The first few are selling for $10. ( copies 2-20 is signed with metallic lavender sharpie. That way my very first supporters will have proof of their love. The remainder are signed red art marker like the eventual digital cover)

Thank you all so much for being patient with me and joining me for this ride. I’ve put so much of my time, effort, money, tears, healing into this project as well as the e.p. that it’ll appear on. I hope you enjoy and have fun tagging along on the process of heir Care with me. Digital release date to be announced soon, as well as the eventual release date for the whole e.p.

Comment below if you’d like a copy. I already have 5 accounted for. I’m giving them out in order of being asked because they are numbered. There is only #56 of this first batch total (excluding the 2 alternate covers, alt 1 - “unreflected” & alt. 2 - “fairest of them all”. Both sold for a unique price and containing exclusive tracks, messages, and photos).

this weeks vinyl of the week,
commemorating it’s 5th anniversary (yesterday-9/10),
“star-crossed” by @spaceykacey .

(I’ve decided I want to start officially releasing my v.o.t.w. videos on fridays)!

This album hit me like a truck back in ‘21. I had moved back home since dropping out of college, and moving in with my best-friend for a period of time. It was yet another one of my many falls back to square one. Though this time, I have finally had enough time away from my usual troubles to initiate some personal growth. It was this year I became dedicated to my path, and this album crossed paths with me at the exact time I needed.

Tackling the themes of divorce, loss, grief, awakening, and perseverance, this album really hit me hard. The guise of country delivered through a pop lense was something I had yet to experience like this. The imagery was beautiful, the lyrics simple yet potent, the production her usual blend of psychedelic and classic country instrumentation, but with some added pop structuring. And of course, my favorite color combo was officially solidified with this record. It’s funny, looking in retrospective how much of a history lavender, red, and I have. I’m glad it led country to bein’ able to make a sizeable stamp in my reference catalog before the gates shut.

Thank you Kacey for pourin’ your all into this project and giving me a soundtrack to get through those cold seasons in my life. May have not struck it big with the masses on ‘er, but damn- did you have a big effect on this lil indie boy’s life.

Now even those were my simpler times. Gettin’ high… off life 😉, late in the night, ridin’ my bike around the brisk streets of the ‘burbs. Gracias a la vida mi amor❣️

I made this song with the intention of freeing myself of the creative restrictions brought on by existing in spaces outside of my own. Takin’ on opinions that were not beneficial. But the funny part is, once I started getting ready to release it, I immediately started listening in on others opinions about my every move. My style, wardrobe, and social media feed. It went against my gut instincts and all the things this song stands for.

Now I see how much I’ve truly shone all this time. I am one of the brightest stars, and though it may hurt to be perceived as a blazing force, blinding everything around it, I’ve personally never lived in that truth. I know my being, it is kind, it is warm, it is humorous/camp, it is giving, it is flaming, it is brilliant. From here on in I will let this track be exactly what I intended it to be. My mantra. Yours if you would like, too. I wont be going back to edit any more of my post to make myself seem overly mysterious. My pure honesty and authenticity is what got me my recognition in the first place.

If I could go back, I’d leave my feed how it was…
but hey, lesson learned.

I’ll take this rewind for what it is. I can truly see myself these days. I have every right to continue to love myself unconditionally regardless of how it makes everyone feel. My wish is that you can hear me on this and do the same. Be happy with the mirror image you have to see yourself in.

“Self worths what’s reflected” not only to yourself, but with how you move, speak, and exist around others.

I’m only just getting restarted on my heir Care journey.
