Whoops, haven’t posted since January. So here’s a 2025 dump. Welcomed a sweetheart cat who needed a new home, spent time with friends and family, went to two weddings, hit my 30 book reading goal, enjoyed live theater whenever possible, and got highlights to disguise the emerging gray hairs. Wasn’t my best year, but certainly wasn’t my worst, and I’m feeling very optimistic for 2026. ✌🏼 by @jamiewalsh

Okay, while we’re here, I have major beef with whatever fake person has the bookshelf in this painting. They have so many books that have the same subject that are not next to each other. The second picture is the puzzle with duplicate subjects circled. Rolling Stones, Led Zeppelin, Jim Morrison (with the same picture of him on both of them), etc. And freakin’ 3, count ‘em 3, books about the Beatles and literally none of them are next to each other. And don’t get me started on having novels mixed in with biographies. Literally the only thing they get right is having all the wine and decor/architecture books together on the bottom shelf, but even those are squeezed between a Bruce Springsteen/Clarence Clemons biography and an Audrey Hepburn biography. Which you’ll notice is on the opposite side and different shelf from the other Audrey Hepburn book. Unbelievable. If this were a real bookshelf, I don’t think I could ever be friends with this person. by @jamiewalsh

Another successful book club meeting! We read “Tomorrow and Tomorrow and Tomorrow” by @gabriellezevin and since it’s about game designers, we went to @your3rdspot and played some games. Very fun day and the book inspired a great conversation. (Bonus pic included from when we stopped by Fetch and got to see the puppers.) taken in Your 3rd Spot by @jamiewalsh

Our latest book club outing was a big success! We read the beautiful memoir #cryinginhmart by @jbrekkie and after our discussion, we went to the nearby H Mart to see one in person. 🙌🏼 by @jamiewalsh
