100 years of Grandpa. ❤️

He is part of the very fabric of our family, with an unmistakable passion for life that, at 100, hasn’t dimmed one bit.

He hugs with real intent. He’ll kiss your cheek so loudly your ears will ring. He’ll make a sly comment about whether you’ve properly put yourself together for him. He’s still driving, only recently retired from a long tenure on the racquetball court, and has hosted more boys’ poker nights than anyone could possibly count.

He loves big, laughs easily, has an opinion when you need one (and when you don’t), and has always approached life with incredible vigor: staying active, staying curious, staying social and, most importantly, staying surrounded by the people he loves.

How lucky are we to have had a whole century of his stories, humor, affection and boundless energy.

Happy 100th birthday, Grandpa. What a life. What a legacy. And what a gift you are to all of us. ❤️ by @jamiewnyc
