I met this couple in 2003 when I lived in Chicago and immediately became FRAMILY! Who knew that I’d meet Collis 4 years later and Ronald was his friend and teammate! It’s crazy how much time has passed and how our children have grown, but as soon as we see each other it’s like no time has passed at all! Love you Duprees! The girls are 100% virtual learning this school year, and many of us know (or learned right away), whether your children are learning virtually, in-person, or hybrid — that no matter what you chose this year, each comes with its challenges.

I love the fun activities of the holiday season, and the joy it brings. Some things my family loves to do during the holidays are bake cookies, make fun treats, do crafts, watch movies, sing all of the songs, wear Christmas pjs, and drive around to see decorations—nothing extraordinary. But, after living in Wisconsin for 3 years, I’ve just learned about the St. Nick tradition on December 5.

Making reindeer krispies was supposed to be a weekend activity, but the burnout is real! Yesterday was a long one complete with back-to-back meetings for both Ron and I after homework, and although it’s only Tuesday, we needed to take a break! So bring on the reindeer games! (I know. Couldn’t help it.🤣)

We’ve never made reindeer krispies so this was easy and fun! (I had them at M&M minis.) This will likely become one of our holiday treat traditions. What are some of your favorite holiday traditions? I’d love to hear them!
