WAH GWARN JERSEY recap from @itvchanneltv 📺🎙️

So far the fundraiser of the year has managed to raise over £300 with Fridays event alone 🤯 There is now a just giving page that has been set up with a target of £750 so that we can donate everything to the community in Jamaica who are without clean drinking water, electricity or phone/wifi services across so many parts of the country.

🇯🇪 really helped me have faith in our community even with short notice, so if you’ve wanted to donate visit the link in my bio to help make a REAL difference in the world 🇯🇲

HUGE thank you to David Barker and the team @biereatelier @labastillejersey for being an incredible venue and serving a delicious Caribbean buffet @chef_eddie30 😋🍽️ and of course their signature rum punch was flowing all night 🍹

p.s. next time I’ll make sure I’m behind the decks to start as the pressure for the better of me but being the host was so worth it as our local talent showed up & showed OUT for us 🎧💿

today our chapter of the outfit diary is on the WINDRUSH GENERATION: use local library’s, Google, audiobooks and living records fucking AI for all I care to try and learn something about one of British history’s greatest stories of immigrants helping a fellow nation in need when called upon and then thrown away like they never existed when it no longer suits the political narrative. A fresh fro, 🥥 water & ☀️ is all this gyal needs

@kerococo 🌴💧 changed my life on this trip to São Paulo. Pretty plz can u sponsor me, they don’t make it like this out here!!!
I gave up a few years ago trying to find a decent prepackaged coco agua after being raised by a Caribbean dad and being spoilt by fresh ones in abundance at everyone’s house we’d visit. But this was a game changer for when I needed a quick hydration fix on the go in the Brazillian heat

Not shown are the new snacks I munched prior to this “breakfast” and honestly only reason I had an 🍎 is bc I didn’t wanna get bored of 🥭 too quickly - if that’s even possible idk 🤷🏽‍♀️

Also somehow did minimal caffeine in the land if you don’t count the daily @guaranaantarctica 🥤
