Rest in peace Hamlet ❤️‍🩹. You will always be my best friend, my soul dog, my copilot, and my anchor. The unconditional love you showed me will be remembered for the rest of my life. You’ve been so strong the last few weeks, and I’m so sorry I couldn’t save you.

Hamlet crossed the rainbow bridge yesterday afternoon 🌈. The videos above are from our last day together. I’m so glad we were able to take a walk together, sit in the sun, and just be ourselves one last time. It was so full of joy, but also it was so hard to push the stroller home, knowing our last ride had come to an end.

I am so thankful to CodaPet who sent a doctor to the house to help us transition. Hammy was nice and comfy on the couch next to me, as he took his last breaths. He wasn’t in pain or anxious at all. It was the most beautiful way to let him go, and I’m so glad he’s not in pain anymore.

They say in heaven, 10 years on earth moves in an hour. So when he wakes up from his nap, I’ll be there with him ❤️‍🩹🥹 by @jamison_shots

He’ll always be my little guy. He’s still with us, but he’s back in the hospital so I’m looking up old videos to remember the days he was more carefree.

Successful week at @progressivepartneracrobatics Icarian edition! The program was focused on how to train, and working towards unspotted skills, versus throwing huge tricks that you’ll never do unspotted. I loved the container that was built, the coaches, and the other students I got to meet. @victoriafouke and I got a few new tricks, but most importantly we took some old tricks to be unspotted, and we have a path for a handful more! It was a huge level up all around! Burning Man 2025. It was the greatest adventure of my life, and it’s not even close.

Straight out of the gate I knew it’d be a very different burn, when we got stuck in a horrific 2 hour dust storm, just hours after getting on playa. It tore through our camp, and we spent the next few days rebuilding things, and hoping the weather would ease.

At the end of the day, burning man isn’t about perfect sunsets and instagram photo shoots. We don’t do it in the desert because it’s easy. It’s about embracing the struggle, and persevering. I appreciate its ability to break down the walls you’ve put up in your life that keep you in 24/7 comfort and convenience. Makes you appreciate how sturdy the real life is when you get back 😂

Thanks again to @mad_tease_party for hosting me, allowing me to capture the moments for the camp 📸, teach Acro, appear in my first Acro performance 🎪 (w/ @just.be.p) and for keeping us safe out there through thick and thin.

Friends Club ‘25. The pixie dust is still in the air after this magic weekend. It was great to connect deeply with our Seattle crew but also with so many new friends from Vancouver and beyond! Excited to keep building the Seattle ➡️Van bridge! Can’t wait for next year, the Sake boys will be back 🍄🍶

The last few months have been tough. Losing a friend to cancer, a relationship ending, among other life stress.

It felt like all the love I had in my heart vanished. The light inside me dimmed. Even the glimmer in my eye disappeared.

I panicked. How do I shine again? How do I polish the flame inside myself so I can feel it? Would I find friends or partners I can love again?

Anxiety told me no. It’s the end, love is gone and it won’t come back.

I took a solo trip to Mexico to find the spark again. I watched the sunrise, I watched the flowers open up. I tried to speak a language I barely understood. I met amazing new people who made me laugh again. I realized the pain wasn’t the absence of love—it was my love, redirected.

So my resolution is to love without condition. Love friends, partners, animals, nature. To be chalant in a nonchalant world. To be authentic to a fault, even if it scares people away. And to tell people I love them before it’s too late. I’m not done healing but I’m getting there ❤️‍🩹 taken in Mexico City, Mexico by @jamison_shots

If a friendship lasts longer than seven years, psychologists say it’ll last a lifetime. Thirteen years later, I never doubted I’d be one of Kenny’s best friends for life.

On May 2nd, 2025, one of my best friends, Kenny Pink, passed away suddenly. He had been battling leukemia—and he was kicking its ass, the way he always did with anything life threw at him. I’m lucky I got to speak with him several times during his fight. We laughed about the next time we’d hang out, and made plans for all the things we’d do when he got better.

I’m devastated that we’ll never have another boys’ trip. Another night out. That he’ll never be a groomsman in my wedding. I’m heartbroken for all the moments we’ll never get to share.

His celebration of life was a beautiful tribute to how deeply he touched the world. Hundreds showed up to share stories of how Kenny changed their lives.

Medellin ‘24. In 2023 I went to Colombia as a warm place to travel. I fell in love with Medellin, the community, and the people. I spent the last year learning Spanish so I could communicate better when I came back. Turns out I still need more work on the Spanish but a good goal for Chimba ‘25 😇
