Toto in Hatcher Pass ✔️

Thanks @walkermackey for the invite! Such a sick climb with 360° views the whole way up. Was a little wet at the bottom from snow run off, made for some numb fingers and slippery shoes. Sat on the 4th pitch for a while soaking up the sun and a little rest before the climbs got harder. Did a lot of lay back on the next two pitches so my arm strength was gone pretty quick haha fell a few times, got some bruises, made it to the top, ate a sandwich, and had a good simul rappel down. And the whole reason for going to New Zealand! Haley swam Cook Straight, from the South Island to the North Island of NZ!! Very impressive. She is swimming the Oceans 7, which are Moloka’i Channel, Catalina Channel, Cook Straight, English Channel, Straight of Gibraltar, North Channel, and Tsugaru Straight. She has already done the first 3. She will be swimming the English Channel next in September. So proud of you Haley! Keep chasing those dreams and making it happen!
